[back] [site home] [projects home] 5th December 2009 Steve GW1XVC received the first Multi-Rock kit only a couple of days ago, but has already proved how easy it is to integrate it into a hybrid design using valves for the rest of the RF path. More info to follow, but for now here are some shots of the proof-of-concept set-up that Steve plans to finish off, and hopefully, write up!.
Modulation for the test was provided by a screen grid modulator using a simple transistorised amplifier driving an audio transformer.
The RF line-up is a Multi-Rock board driving one half on an ECC82, driving a 6146 PA.
